Please note that Columbia Water made repairs to a 16″ water main break on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 14, 2025 near the intersection of Richfield Drive and Northwood Street.
In order to make the necessary repair, the 16″ line was turned off temporarily.
The repair did not involve cutting the pipe but only involved a repair sleeve therefore, no Boil Water Advisory was necessary.
However, it is our understanding that the flow reversals in the water distribution system caused by temporarily turning off the 16″ water main may have stirred up sediment in the surrounding water mains.
Residents may have noticed discolored water as a result of this work.
